Kantation

Nashville, Tennessee Oct 1, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Iron Gate Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Southern Californias power metal sensation, Kantation. Known for their galloping rhythms, soaring vocals, and uncompromising heavy metal spirit, Kantation has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most powerful and electrifying bands on the global metal scene.

Kantation has shared the stage with metal legends including Fates Warning, Dio Disciples, Uli Jon Roth, Kings X, Primal Fear, Helstar, Armored Saint, Nuclear Assault, Lynch Mob, and more. Their high-energy performances and timeless metal anthems have earned them a devoted following, both at home and internationally. The band also serves as the hosts and headliners of the Throwback Metal Fest in Las Vegas, where theyve performed alongside bands like Bitch, Cage, Widow, Ruthless, Heretic, and Ashbury.

Iron Gate Records is ecstatic to welcome Kantation into our family, said Mark A. Skoda, CEO of Iron Gate Records. Their commitment to the classic roots of power metal, combined with their undeniable talent and stage presence, makes them the perfect addition to our roster. Were looking forward to bringing their music to a larger audience and helping to further cement their place as icons in the world of heavy metal.

Kantations lineup boasts a roster of seasoned veterans with impressive experience in both studio and live settings, spanning the globe. Each member brings a unique set of skills, creating a collective powerhouse that continues to push the boundaries of traditional metal.

Kantation is comprised of:

  • Martin DeBourge Vocals: Formerly of Torman Maxt & Damien Thorne, DeBourge has performed at Germanys iconic Keep It True Festival and worked with notable artists like Bryan Beller (Mike Keneally, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dethklok, The Aristocrats). His impressive recording credits include Head Transfer Process and Quester.
  • Nano Lugo Guitar: Founding member of Southern California-based bands Shocker, Roxxity, and Caravan, Nano is the creative mastermind behind Kantation.
  • Jaye Sooter Bass: Jaye brings a wealth of local gigging experience from Southern Californias High Desert. Hes been a longtime friend of Nanos and is a crucial element of Kantations powerful sound.
  • Jeremy Jimison Guitar: A founding member of Head Transfer Process, Jeremy has recorded projects benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund and performed alongside notable names like Lisa LaRue, Steve Smyth (Forbidden), and Bryant Crawford. His live performance credits include The Jimmy Ash Band, and he has extensive experience in session work.
  • Vinny Galore Drums: A driving force behind Kantations intense rhythms, Vinny has performed with Bar Flyz and Aftershokk. Hes opened for the likes of Ace Frehley, Dee Sniders Widow Maker, SOIL, and Doro Pesch. Vinnys drumming is informed by his studies under Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner) and his mastery of double bass drumming has become a cornerstone of Kantations sound.

Together, Kantation is poised to bring the thunder of traditional power metal back to the forefront, with a sound that channels the genres roots while propelling it into the future.

As they join forces with Iron Gate Records, fans can look forward to new releases, including an upcoming album that promises to deliver the epic riffs and high-octane performances that have become synonymous with Kantations name.
